John Murphy is the progressive choice for King County Council District 3

District 3 comprises nearly a quarter of the land mass in King County and includes nearly a quarter million residents in the communities of Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, Duvall, Carnation, Snoqualmie, North Bend, Fall City, Preston, Skykomish, and many of our county's unincorporated areas.

Attorney and retired Deputy Fire Chief John Murphy is running for King County Council to represent the residents of District 3.

The King County Democrats have endorsed John Murphy because he brings decades of effective leadership and service to King County residents. As Deputy Fire Chief at Eastside Fire & Rescue, he lived and breathed the importance of maintaining focus and delivering results.

John is running because the Eastside is his home, and we are facing urgent issues that need to be addressed. Our roads are crumbling while traffic continues to get worse. Housing is becoming less affordable. Our environment is in danger.

The county is well-positioned to address these issues, but rather than results, we are seeing missed opportunities while our elected representatives dither. It is time to stop kicking the can down the road.

Maintaining focus and delivering results is what John knows and is what Eastside residents deserve.
